Jack the Ripper Museum Ghost Hunt £59

booknow Join us for our first event investigating the Jack the Ripper Museum! The Museum contains items connected to the crimes of Jack the Ripper along with scenes of the murders. After our investigation at the Bell Pub, 130 years to the night Catherine Eddowes was murdered after drinking there, we have been hopeful to carry out another investigation in connection to Jack the Ripper. And then we visited the museum & decided it would be a perfect opportunity to delve a little deeper!

Not only do we have the Jack the Ripper connection, the house itself is several hundred years old, in an area surrounded by murder, crime & suffering in one of the poorest parts of London. Are you brave enough to investigate this museum with us?

The Museum is split into 6 floors: 1st floor Mitre Square. Catherine Eddowes was found in the square on 30th September 1888. 2nd floor Ripper’s sitting room. A selection of items connected to the possible professions of Jack the Ripper. 3rd floor Police station. Contains original notebook, handcuffs & truncheon from PC Watkins including the whistle he used to call for help when he found Catherine Eddowes mutilated body in Mitre Square. 4th floor Victim’s bedroom. This room is just how the Ripper’s victims would have lived in their day, including original Victorian bonnets. Basement The Mortuary. The walls have the original autopsy photos from the murders. **These photos some people may find disturbing. There is a Victorian stained glass window taken from the mortuary of St George-in-the-East where the body of Elizabeth Stride was taken. Ground floor is the souvenir shop.
